The reaction with sodium chromate may be continuous or batchwise.

1. METHOD FOR PROCESSING INDUSTRIAL WASTE OF CHROMIUM ANHYDRIDE, including treating with sodium monochromate solution at elevated temperature, followed by exposure of the resulting reaction mixture to elevated temperature and separation of the precipitated chromium chromate by filtration, characterized in that, in order to increase the filtration rate, the reaction mixture is aged at 70-103 ° C and a pH value of 2-8.
